Session 1: Fundamentals of Photography
Have a camera and not sure what all those menu items and buttons do? Is the 200+ page manual overwhelming? This course is a fun experience for the beginner photographer. Covering topics from equipment to terminology, the instructor will assist you in enhancing your photography skills and give you a basic understanding of photography. There will be weekly assignments.
Week 1: Getting friendly with your digital camera.
Week 2: Exposed: ISO, F/stops, and Shutter Speed.
Week 3: Color Temperature and White Balance.
Week 4: Composition and lenses.
Week 5: File formats and image enhancing software.
Week 6: Common mistakes and how to fix them.
Beginner Photography Classes start October 24, 2012 for 6 weeks, Weds eve at 6:30pm. Thanksgiving week will be skipped and last class to be held the following week. Classes tol be held in Princeton, NJ at a Carnegie Center location. Cost is $60. Limited seating. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
